Kaikōura: The perfect pit stop on your South Island roadie

Heading up the South Island? We’ve got great news, our brand new Zero fast charging site in Kaikōura is officially live, giving EV drivers a brilliant new spot to top up right on the coast.

Located directly on State Highway 1, it's an ideal stop whether you’re travelling towards Blenheim, Nelson or Picton. Grab a bite, stretch your legs or take in those epic ocean views while your EV powers up.

  • 3 × 160kW DC fast chargers
  • CCS and CHAdeMO connectors

This new charging hub is designed to make long distance EV travel even easier, especially on one of the most iconic coastal routes in the country. Whether you’re cruising north for a getaway, heading home after the holidays or simply breaking up the journey, Kaikōura is now a faster, more convenient place to charge.
