Powering Haast and one of NZ’s most remote road trips

Haast is officially live! We know this site has been long awaited and we’re excited to share that our chargers in Haast are ready for EV drivers. Bringing fast, reliable charging to one of the most isolated stretches of road in the South Island.

The site sits on one of New Zealand’s most iconic tourist routes. Whether you’re travelling between Wanaka, the West Coast or heading further south, Haast is a crucial stop for EV drivers taking on this spectacular but remote journey.

  • 5 Marks Road - located right beside The Hard Antler for some great food while you wait!

Why is Haast unique?

Haast sits on one of the country's most iconic tourist routes. It’s massively isolated and the local power supply is extremely limited, which means we had to work hard to create charging that supports EV drivers without impacting local residents.

Bringing fast charging here has been a priority and we’re proud to finally make it happen. Thanks for your patience - we’re stoked to help keep you moving through one of the most stunning and remote parts of New Zealand!
