These terms and conditions apply to the 123FREE Zero Charging promotion offered by Zero through the Zero EV charging network and Zero app.

By participating in the promotion, you agree to these terms and conditions in addition to any other applicable Zero conditions including Zero’s standard terms and conditions.

Zero is an EV Charging network brought to you by Meridian Energy Limited. References to Zero in these Terms and Conditions refer to Meridian Energy Limited trading as Zero.

1. This promotion runs from 29 May 2026 to 11:59pm on 28 July 2026 (the 123FREE Period).

2. Existing Zero customers who complete three Eligible Charging Sessions on each reset 123FREE tracker during the 123FREE Period will receive one free charging coupon which can be used for a future charge.

3. New Zero customers who sign up during the 123FREE Period will also receive 50% off their first Eligible Charging Session.

4. Eligibility criteria:

a. To be eligible, you must be a Zero registered user with a valid Zero account.

b. This promotion applies to Meridian’s Zero public charging sites only and excludes free Plug & Charge sites.

c. Business Charging customers are not eligible.

5. An Eligible Charging Session means a successfully completed charging session using a Zero EV charger, which meets the eligibility criteria in cl 4 above and where at least 4 kWh of charge has been delivered for CCS, or at least 2 kWh of charge has been delivered for Type 2 or CHAdeMO.

6. Only charging sessions recorded by Zero’s systems as valid Zero charging sessions will count toward the promotion. Zero may exclude any charging session that is incomplete, reversed, refunded, fraudulent, abusive, manipulated, or otherwise inconsistent with the intent of the promotion. In the event of any disagreement regarding eligibility, qualifying charging sessions, tracker progress, coupon issuance, or other matters in connection with this promotion Zero’s decision acting reasonably and in good faith will be final.

7. Free charging coupons will be automatically added to the eligible customer’s Zero account. Each free charging coupon is capped at a maximum value of NZ$50 and must be used by 31 December 2026.

8. Once a fourth Eligible Charging Session has occurred, the customer’s 123FREE tracker will reset and the customer can start again to earn another free charging coupon during the 123FREE Period.

9. The 123FREE tracker will only reset after the fourth Eligible Charging Session. If the customer chooses to save a free charge coupon rather than use it on the fourth Eligible Charging Session, the fourth Eligible Charging Session is used to reset the 123FREE tracker. In addition to this paid fourth Eligible Charging Session, a further three Eligible Charging Sessions are required once the 123FREE tracker is reset before a new charging coupon is issued.

10. Free charging coupons (cl 2) and first-charge discounts (cl 3) are not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.

11. Zero reserves the right to extend, cancel, or amend this promotion at any time and may vary these terms by posting revised terms on its website or in the Zero app.
